According to Video-Cellar, copyrights on British films released before 1945 only lasted 50 years.

I cannot find a U.S. renewal for Bulldog Drummond at Bay (1937).

I wonder if there's confusion with these films: The Farmer's Wife and Bulldog Drummond at Bay, or perhaps others.

Yeah. Video-Cellar had said that The Farmer's Wife and Bulldog Drummond at Bay were PD. I wish I knew the basis of Optimum Releasing Limited's claim.
